Uluwatu Temple & Kecak Dance
It is an ancient temple of ULUWATU, located on top of the cliff jutting out to the sea, hundreds of meters above the Indian ocean. At 6.15pm to see an evening performance of KECAK is Bali’s most dramatic dance performance popularly known as monkey dance, enacted by a group of over 100 men, dance is a concentric circle. The story is taken from the ancient Hindu epic, the Ramayana. It starts at 18.00pm for the one-hour duration.
